AKW Donates Accessible Bathroom to Training Centre of Excellence

In October 2024, AKW proudly partnered with Clark & Partners to donate an accessible bathroom to support the launch of Home Instead Sheffield and Barnsley’s new Training Centre of Excellence.

Home Instead provide a variety of home care services, including domiciliary, live in, palliative and specialist health care for people who need it, and have 250 offices across the UK, each offering a localised provision for clients and communities.

The new Training Centre of Excellence for Home Instead’s Sheffield and Barnsley offices, is dedicated to empowering carers with hands-on, industry-leading training on advanced care equipment, ensuring they are equipped to provide the highest level of support to clients living in their own homes.

AKW partnered with Sheffield-based mobility specialists Clark & Partners who installed a selection of AKW accessible bathroom products at the centre, including the innovative AKW SmartCare Plus Electric Shower.

We’re extremely proud to be able to support Home Instead with their latest project thanks to the generous help of Clark & Partners; our primary goal has always been to help people maintain their independence and live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible.
