Since 2022, AKW and DLP colleagues have held an annual Easter Egg appeal which has resulted in us being able to distribute Easter Eggs to a variety of local good causes, with 1,182 chocolate treats donated to 13 fantastic charities, foodbanks, care providers and hospitals over the last five years.

In addition to our annual egg collection, in 2026 AKW colleagues also held an internal Easter raffle to fundraise in aid of Acorn’s Children’s Hospice in Worcester.
This successfully raised £325.00 for the charity in lieu of chocolate eggs, with many children being cared for at the hospice having highly complex care needs, including special dietary restrictions and the inability to be fed orally.
These funds will instead go towards caring for young people and supporting their families.
